Team Chapel 2015
Ron Drews
George Heath has been with Village Lutheran Church and The Chapel School for twelve years. He serves as the cantor for the church, and music teacher for grades 3-8 for The Chapel School. He is also the parent of two Chapel School students. Running has become one of his favorite hobbies and is very pleased to be able to support such a worthy cause.
Rev. Scott Geminn
Pastor Scott Geminn is the associate pastor of Village Lutheran Church and the Chapel School. He is married to the lovely Rebecca and is the proud father of Emma who turned 1 this past February. Scott is a graduate of Concordia College - New York and has served churches in Indiana, Colorado and New Hampshire. Having hiked many mountains in Colorado, including a 14er (Mount of the Holy Cross), he is very excited about the challenge of running the New York City marathon and raising money for the Chapel School. He looks forward to the days when Emma will be a student at the Chapel School. He is also very grateful for his wife who has been a great source of encouragement and support throughout his training.
Chris Gleason
Chris Gleason and his family have been members of Village Lutheran Church since 2002 when they moved to Westchester. In addition to being a long-time member of both the Chancel and Brass Choirs, he is honoured to currently serve as President of the Board of Trustees for VLC and The Chapel School. He and his wife, Sarah are eternally grateful for The Chapel School where their boys (Joshua and Zachary) attended from 2007 through 2014. Chris is a Managing Director at Fiduciary Trust International, a wealth management company with trust capabilities located in Rockefeller Center. He ran his first half-marathon in 2014 for Team Chapel-Arts, and is looking forward to the challenge of running the full NYC marathon this fall.
Laurie Meehan
Laurie Meehan is the proud mom of two students at The Chapel School, Megan Burich (6th) and Christopher Burich (8th). She has served on the Chapel PTO Board for many years. She just finished up serving as President of the Chapel PTO and currently serves on committees for the MPR Improvement and the Board of the Blue Ribbon Foundation to benefit the Chapel School. She has run a number of half-marathons, but hasn't run a full marathon since 2008. She is looking forward to running for Team Chapel.
Steph Raubenheimer
Steph Raubenheimer is a Westchester resident and serves with Young Life ministries in the area. She is married to Tertius and they have one child.
