Meet The Team
Team Chapel Arts 2018
Fundraised: $9,407.00
Jennifer Arditi
I am an attorney and have two girls at Chapel who not only love the school and have been thriving there since the very first day, but love the arts program. I never imagined that theater and song would play such a huge part of their lives and have such an impact. That is the direct result of the Chapel Art Program and the amazing work of George and Kate. The NYC 1/2 is a great way to contribute to this program.
I am doing this with my father, who is now 71, and has been running everyday for years. Looking forward to sharing the experience with him and accomplishing it together.
Denise Hopkins
Denise Hopkins - Currently works at Concordia College in Student Accounts. Prior to that she worked in the insurance industry for over 15 years. She has been running for years but this her first Marathon. "I am looking forward to this experience and helping Chapel achieve its goals."
Juliano Passi
Juliano Passi is 39 years old and from Brazil. He married to the wonderful Juliana and is the happy father of two little girls, JP (7 y.o.), and GP (5 y.o.). JP attends 2nd grade at The Chapel School and GP is as Kindergartner at Waverly Schools. Besides being a husband and Dad, which requires a lot of energy, he works for his family business in Brazil which is divided into two markets (1. glass supplier for the construction and architectural markets, and 2. Real Estate Industry). This will be his first half marathon ever (my longest race was a 10k). However, he has been involved with sports since he was a teenager... his major sport was Roller Hockey and he played Michigan State University during college. He also had the privilege to be part of the 2004 Brazilian National Team. "I’m very excited to start getting involved with the VLC and TCS community, and I’m glad to be part of the Team Chapel as I test myself on my first half marathon event."

It still makes me smile when I think about the hours and hours of singing, rehearsing and performing with Mr. (George) Heath and Mrs. (Kate) Marino and all my friends. Since I have gotten really into running in high school, I just felt that participating in this NYC Half Marathon ... and raising money for TCS's Fine Arts Programs ... was the perfect way to give back!" Lyndsie's mother Erika runs Village Lutheran Church and The Chapel School's Voyager Youth Program for students in Grades 3-6. Her brother Tyler (Class of 2011) and sister Alyson (Class of 2013) also graduated from TCS. And her father, Michael, is in his 22nd year of service ... and 2nd year as Principal ... at The Chapel School.
