Meet The Team

Diane Hernandez has been a Chapel parent since 2011, and her children, Marco and Malia, currently attend TCMS. Diane ran the NYC Half in 2015 on behalf of Team Chapel and is excited to hit the NYC streets again to help out the amazing drama, music and arts programs at TCS. When Diane is not at work in advertising or with her family, you can find her on a softball field, at a rock-climbing gym, in a Plank Fit class, at Barry’s Bootcamp or running on the Bronx River pathway. #GoTeamChapel2020

Dmytro Yaskal is excited for the opportunity to run for Team Chapel Arts and raise money for The Chapel School Arts & Drama Program. He ran his first full marathon as a member of Team Chapel in 2016, and has loved running ever since. He knows firsthand the importance of the arts in education. He attended elementary school in Ukraine on a musical scholarship and has a deep appreciation of music. Dmytro is a senior accountant at Nikko Asset Management and is currently studying to become a CPA. He began running in 2016 to get in shape. He has completed multiple half marathons including the West Point half, NJ Half and Fred Lebow Half as well as completing the prestigious TCS New York City Marathon twice. He is excited to run the United Airlines Half Marathon for the first time this March.
