Meet The Team

Claudia is a wife and mother of two (Julia, 13 and Dylan, 10). She has been a runner for over 15 years, but did not tackle long-distance running until 2013 when she ran her first half marathon. She has now run over 20 half marathons and 11 marathons. Claudia suffered an ankle fracture in February and is slowly getting back into running. She is excited to make the NYC marathon her comeback race! This will be her fourth NYC marathon and she is looking forward to fundraising for The Chapel School Scholarship Fund. Claudia's children have attended The Chapel School since 2018 and have benefited from Chapel's focused approach to education; offering children the opportunity to take ownership and pride in their efforts and accomplishments.

Ralph Schoene has been a member of the Village Lutheran Church since 1992. He has been a Board of Trustees member and has served as church treasurer. He has completed 26 marathons (including the first team Chapel NYC Marathon event in 2011) and numerous half marathons.
