Meet The Team

Avid runner and supporter of good charity is a wonderful thing. Done other races for charities and would like to fundraise for The  Chapel School. Enjoy healthy eating, living, spending time with my young children and family.

Patrick Wareham is a proud alum and member of The Chapel Class of 2012. Post-Chapel, Patrick attended high school at Loyola School, and graduated from College of the Holy Cross with a degree in Economics. 

Patrick now lives in the greater Boston area where he works in consulting at McKinsey & Company. New York will be his second marathon, following his first race this past February down in Austin, TX. He is looking forward to representing the Chargers in November! 

My name is Miles Khaleel. I'm excited to run for Team Chapel!  I was born and raised in NY. I attended Chapel school for pre-k and grew up attending Sunday Services with my family. I went to Mount St. Michael Academy in the Bronx and then Graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Education & Social Work. I currently live in Dallas, TX and have been a College Counselor for the past 15 years. Sports and being active has always been a big part of my life and helped me get through many challenges physically and mentally. I love working out, hiking, and participating in group fitness. Currently I run with November Project and other run groups in Dallas to prep for upcoming races. This will be my first time running the NYC Marathon and it has always been a dream of mine. My older brother also ran for Team Chapel in 2018 and I’m looking forward to sharing this experience with him and beating his time of course.

​Hello! My name is Xavier Martinez and I am from Austin, TX. As a recent graduate of Cornell University, I have since moved to Manhattan to work in management consulting. While at Cornell I was a captain and the quarterback of the Cornell Sprint Football Team in addition to being an active member in the Greek life community. In my free time you may find me out on a run, walking my dog, playing chess or immersing myself in a good novel. I look forward to representing the team this November in the City and hope to see you there! 

My name is Davey Chandler.  I am a dad of two (Noah 9, and Jonah 1).  My family and I have a special love for The Chapel School and are members of the Village Lutheran Church. I currently serve on the Board of Trustees for VLC and The Chapel School. I have been a runner for over 15 years, but did not tackle long-distance running until 2020 when I ran my first half marathon.  I am excited to be running the New York Marathon on behalf of the children at The Chapel School.  #GoTeamChapel2023

Alex Kirchgaesser is excited to run his second marathon with Team Chapel, with the goal of
raising more funds and beating his time from last year. Alex graduated from Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts where he received a bachelor’s degree in Economics. As an alumnus of TCS, graduating in 2014 Alex is thrilled to represent his Alma mater come November. Alex resides in NYC where he works in the financial services industry at Merrill Lynch. When Alex is not working or training, he enjoys
spending time with his family, friends and watching NFL red zone.

Hello! I’m Belle Cavazos and I’m from Austin Texas. I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where I received my B.S. in Nutrition. I have been a dancer all my life and was the Captain of the Texas Pom Squad. I’m currently working for Whole Kids Foundation which supports schools and inspires families to improve children’s nutrition. I’m passionate about health & wellness and helping others. I plan to relocate to New York City in January 2024 and I am excited to run my FIRST marathon!
