Meet The Team

My name is Jana Alford and I am so honored to be a part of Team Chapel.  I live in Oklahoma with my husband and two daughters.  Running is my happy place.  It is where I reconnect with nature, friends, and my inner thoughts.  Both my girls attend a Christian School and I am passionate about helping other children have a holistic education that is centered around God’s word. 

My name is Daniela Barrios, and I’m so excited to be running with Team Chapel in 2024! I’m originally from Colorado, and I am currently a medical student. NYC will be my third marathon! I am passionate about using my running to help raise money for a great cause, and as someone who is very fortunate to be in higher education, I want to help other children have the same opportunities for well-rounded education. Besides running, I also enjoy cooking and reading.

Born and raised in metro Detroit, Kristin stumbled into running through the middle school gym timed mile. It was her gym teacher, who encouraged her to join the track team in high school. At the age of 14, she became hooked and started running year-round. Kristin is the wife of Pastor Ben Dolby, who is currently serving at All Saints Lutheran Church, Bellevue, WA. She homeschools their two children and will be directing Challenge B in their Classical Conversations Community this fall. "Through running, God has taught me things about myself and my relationship with Him. I'm passionate about Christian education and look forward to using my gifts and abilities to help The Chapel provide scholarships to students in need." 

My name is Jesse Kohn. I am excited to run with Team Chapel in 2024! I was born and raised in Minnesota, where I currently work as a software engineer. In my free time, I enjoy biking, roller blading, playing board and card games, camping, hiking, and running races with my sister.

I am a mother of 3 boys who have attended The Chapel School. I played college basketball and enjoy exercising when not working or spending time with my family. I ran the 2023 & 2024 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon on behalf of Team Chapel Arts.

My name is Tory and I am from South Dakota.  I am a nurse practitioner and am passionate about running. I am excited to run for Team Chapel and to raise money to help children to attend school to continue their emotional and spiritual growth.
